e-astronomer.com<\/strong> has taken the initiative to build a digital database of planetary  images or sketches from all around the world. The site is under development currently in version 1.0 and will gradually add new features. Our plans are to be able to find photographs based on the planet’s celestial options like CM CMII CMII LS etc.

Who can upload pictures?
<\/span><\/h1>\n

Photographs can be uploaded by any amateur astronomer,  whether he is an experienced or new entrant to planetary imaging and recording. We expect to upload not only your images but also your sketches. You can scan them and upload them too. Everything matters in amateur astronomy.

How can I upload my photos?
<\/span><\/h1>\n

e-astronomer.com<\/strong>  has developed a friendly application for the astronomers to be able to upload their images as simple as possible.   This application is called (PISubmitter) Planetary Image Submitter.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

How can I download it?<\/span><\/h1>\n


You download the application from the following links as a .msi<\/strong> installation file or as .exe<\/strong> executable.

What is the required format and  type of uploaded images?<\/span><\/h1>\n


The name of your image  or sketch must be formatted in the following  form:
<\/span><\/p>\n

INITIALS-PLANET-YYYY-MM-DD-HHMMSS-FILTER.png or .jpg or .gif<\/span><\/h4>\n


Example: If your name is “John Doe” then:<\/span><\/p>\n

File name should be: JD-JUPITER-2019-02-21-203003-IRCUT.png<\/span><\/h4>\n

INITIALS: Max 4 Characters<\/p>\n

DON’T WORRY!!!  THE CONVERSION TO THE ADEQUATE FORMAT IS DONE AUTOMATICALLY BY THE APPLICATION.<\/span><\/p>\n

How can I delete a picture?<\/span><\/h1>\n


To delete an image or a sketch that you have uploaded with incorrect data, you will need to send an email to the administrator to delete it for you. info{@}e-astronomer.com without brackets.
